I am currently working as a scientific software developer (until the end of 2015, I worked as a researcher in Astrophysics, having gained my PhD in 2008). I am now working as a freelance consultant on various projects related to scientific software: I currently lead the development of the glue (http://www.glueviz.org) open-source Python package for data visualization, and I am the scientific editor for software for the journals of the American Astronomical Society. In addition, since 2011 I have been one of the coordinators and lead developers of the Astropy (http://www.astropy.org) project. |
