Short Biography |
I develop software to support large research projects such as PREDICTS (http://www.predicts.org.uk), for which I developed processes and software to handle all aspects of the project's data: collation, validation, curation, visualisation and analysis. The database contains more than 3.8 million biodiversity samples collated from nearly 550 papers by over 40 researchers. I also produce software to support digitisation of museum collections including Inselect (https://github.com/NaturalHistoryMuseum/inselect) - a cross-platform, open-source desktop application used by the Natural History Museum, The Smithsonian, The Australian Museum and others. |
