Short Biography |
I am currently Director of Informatics for the Greater Manchester Academic Health Science Network. My role is to promote the use of informatics, software and data analysis in supporting innovation in the NHS and research, in particular how data can inform health systems to learn by using research evidence faster and more effectively. Previously I was CTO at NWEH, building research software such as FARSITE, as well as e-Lab research with Professor Iain Buchan. I work with the Connected Health Cities project, MAHSC and the NIHR to support the development of health informatics research capability in Health Innovation Manchester. |
