Short Biography

I am co-founder of the Pharmaco-Epi Data Collaborative - a network of multidisciplinary researchers who work in the field of pharmacoepidemiology. Our aim is to promote knowledge sharing, collaboration and open science practices in our domain. We hold events with informative keynote talks, method-sharing competitions, problem solving workshops and training. We are also building an online knowledge hub to share code/methods/resources.

I am currently a 3rd year PhD student in the Division of Psychiatry at UCL. My PhD focuses on the use of multiple medications in people with both physical and mental health problems, specifically, depression and type 2 diabetes. To do this, I use electronic health record data from the UK and Hong Kong. I also support other research projects within the Division of Psychiatry that use electronic health record data, and provide teaching support the the epidemiology and statistics modules for the Division's MSc.

Prior to joining UCL I was the regional lead at NHS England, for a programme aiming to optimise the use of data and analytics to improve population health. I also previously worked as the Development Manager for a disease data registry - designing and managing the development of systems for data collection and reporting, clinical trials, pharmacovigilance and patient platforms.
