Short Biography |
I am an interdisciplinary researcher and R programmer with an ecology background and extensive experience in visualisation, mapping, public health and fisheries. I've been freelancing for four years, for two of those I’ve mostly been working on models of insecticide resistance in malaria mosquitoes. I also developed and maintain a handful of well-used R packages. I've often been involved in refactoring other people’s code to make it more useable. I enjoy both developing software and teaching coding to researchers and students. I believe there are great opportunities in making entry-level coding and modelling more accessible. |
