Short Biography |
I am a research software engineer with a wide range of experiences working in domains such as gravitational wave physics, mathematical biology, and bioinformatics. I have a particular interest in developing applications for distributed systems, and tackling challenges that accompany working on software for large scientific collaborations. Usually, my work takes place at the interface between software and computational infrastructure. I have worked as part of The Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) collaboration, the COVID-19 Genomics UK Consortium (COG-UK), and the Cloud Infrastructure for Microbial Bioinformatics (CLIMB). I have also worked outside of academia, for organisations such as NHS Wales. |
